FC Barcelona ramps up the attacking squad with Luuk de Jong

Ronald Koeman bolsters Barcelona’s attacking squad with the addition of Luuk de Jong and he would join Memphis Depay & Frenkie de Jong. The 31-year-old joins Barca leaving behind Sevilla after spending two years with the club, De Jong has inked a one-year contract now. Barca would deploy De Jong with midfielder Frenkie de Jong, and attacker Memphis Depay, taking the place of Antoine Griezmann. Before joining Sevilla in 2019, he played for PSV for five years.

All eyes turned to him when he scored twice against Internazionale in the Europa League. The La Liga giants hope to get back to the winning track after losing Lionel Messi to PSG, they have had a good start as well with no loss they won their matches against Real Sociedad and Getafe but drew 1-1 against Athletic Club.
