Tottenham Hotspur is desperate to sign a new goalkeeper, eyes Pierluigi Gollini as a substantial add-on to the squad. Head Coach Nuno Espirito Santo is negotiating a deal for the Italian Footballer. The negotiations are still in progress for Gollini. Spurs are expected to sign him on a two-year loan with the option to make the transfer permanent.
The 26-year-old began his youth career with Manchester United before moving on to Aston Villa for two seasons. He has made significant contributions, by making 118 appearances and 143 goals while contesting for Serie A. Spurs have been linked with a bid for West Bromwich Albion goalkeeper Sam Johnstone, but the club wants more than £10 million to offload him. The final decision is yet to be revealed.
