Finishing the 2020-2021 Serie A campaign

Antonio Conte’s Inter Milan sealed a title and ended Juventus’s nine times league winning streak to lift the first title in 11 years. Last year’s runner-ups found their 19th Serie A title and had a dominating run in the second half of the campaign with just one loss to Juventus.  Milan who was without Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the end finished second in the league and were 12 points behind Inter. Ibrahimovic finished the season with 15 goals in 19 matches and was absent in the end due to injury and coronavirus.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s Juventus though could not win their 10th back-to-back league title but made history as the first player to be the top scorer in England, Spain, and Italy. The 36-year-old scored 29 goals this season and helped the team finish in the top four with just a one-point lead over Napoli. While Gian Piero Gasperini's Atalanta fell from second place to finish third this season after AC Milan gained points in the last leg of the season to finish with 79 points.
