Following an injury, Ben Chilwell's World Cup prospects are in doubt

Ben Chilwell pulled up in Chelsea's 2-1 Champions League victory over Dinamo Zagreb on Wednesday, suffering a hamstring injury that will likely prevent him from travelling with England to the World Cup.  "It doesn't appear positive. It hurts my hamstring, "explained Graham Potter, the manager of Chelsea. We must scan it to determine its condition. Chilwell, who has 17 Three Lions appearances to his name, was a member of the England team that advanced to the Euro 2020 championship game.

In his Chelsea debut, Denis Zakaria scored the game-winning goal as the Blues overcame a deficit to defeat the Croatian champions at Stamford Bridge. However, Chilwell, 25, had to be assisted off the pitch in stoppage time, seemingly ruining his chances of travelling to Qatar, and the evening ended poorly for Chelsea and England.
