Fonseca all ready for Roma job

The Giallorossi have been on the search for a new tactician since parting ways with Eusebio Di Francesco and Claudio Ranieri’s interim stint ended.

I’m really happy, luckily the situation has worked out for the best and soon I will be able to fly out for Rome,” Fonseca was quoted as telling the Corriere dello Sport.

The paper also reports that the 46-year-old will arrive in the capital next week to finalise the deal, and will sign a two-year contract with the option for a third.

According to Il Tempo newspaper, Fonseca will sign the contract in London, where he’ll meet President Jim Pallotta on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, La Repubblica also reported that Pallotta will offer the Portuguese Coach a two-year deal worth €2m per season plus bonuses, less than he was getting in Ukraine.
