France is asking that FIFA take action because of Griezmann's disallowed goal against Tunisia. After being hindered by many injuries to numerous primary players in the buildup to Qatar, Didier Deschamps witnessed his men sail into the knockouts with straight wins over Australia and Denmark.
Despite it all, France isn't satisfied with the controversial conclusion to the game against the north African side: Tunisia. They've reportedly asked FIFA to intervene and change the result. With Tunisia domineering the game through Whabi Khazri's second-half goal, it felt that Les Bleus had drawn level at the death, courtesy of Antoine Griezmann's goal deep into stoppage time. VAR later barred that Griezmann goal, despite not challenging for the ball, stating that it had been offside when the ball was initially flung into the Tunisian box and referee Matthew Conger rubbed the goal off.
