Frankfurt praise Rangers and their fans via Scottish press

After beating Rangers on penalties in the Europa League final on Wednesday, Eintracht Frankfurt praised their opponents with a classy gesture.

Oliver Glasner's side got the 'Daily Record' to put their message on their back page and they were full of praise for their opponents. They asked thanked Rangers supporters for their behaviour inside the stadium.

Despite some incidents in the city of Seville a few hours before kick-off, both sets of fans enjoyed each other's company and the final was enjoyed in a very sporting manner. "Rangers, it was an honour for us! You were a fantastic opponent with your countless fans. Together we showed how football should be. Emotional, passionate and fair. Greatness is revealed in defeat, especially in such dramatic fashion," they stated.
