Frankfurt pulled off a successful comeback by drilling five past Bayer

Eintracht Frankfurt thrashed Bayer Leverkusen in the seven-goal thriller on Sunday. The Swiss midfielder Djibril Sow continued to sprinkle his magic on the field with a surprise run of goals in the 5-2 triumph of Frankfurt. Sow is returning to form scoring his third goal in four games for the team compared to his previous record where he had scored just once in 87 appearances.

The 24-year-old helped Oliver Glasner's side to just two points of European spots and Leverkusen stayed in the third position but Borussia Dortmund increased their lead to four points with the mishap. Leverkusen was off to a flying start with Patrik Schick’s opening goal within five minutes and the team doubled their lead in the first half itself to climb closer to a win but Frankfurt fought back and pulled two back within half an hour and later drilled three more to seal a win.
