Fulham holds the key as Chelsea eyes to sign Ben Chilwell

While Chelsea continues to make the required transfers as early as possible, it seems that their south-west London neighbors, Fulham, may have a decisive role to play for the Blues to strike a deal with the Leicester City star Ben Chilwell.

The 23-year old sensation has long been considered by Frank Lampard as a potential Blues lad, and with the given updates, it seems quite right to believe that Chelsea may acquire him for £50m this summer.

For Brendan Rodgers to be onboard with this transfer for Chilwell, Leicester would definitely be looking for an appropriate replacement, and that is when Fulham comes into the picture.

If recent media reports are to be believed, the Foxes manager is eagerly eyeing to sign Joe Bryan from the newly-promoted side, and the buzz is that this transfer would cost them barely anything above £5m. Which by all means is a great deal.

This just goes to show that his value has gone way up after the match-winning performance at the Wembley Stadium against Brentford in recently concluded Championship Play-Off final.
