Fulham shatters Tottenham Hotspurs' top four hopes

Tottenham missed a chance to climb into the Premier League's top four, slumping to a surprise 3-0 defeat at Fulham. A victory would have moved Ange Postecoglou's team over Aston Villa and into fourth place, but instead, they gave the lead back to their top-four opponents. Sasa Lukic's goal for Fulham was followed by two goals from the in-form Rodrigo Muniz on either side of Lukic’s goal, punishing fifth-place Tottenham for a careless display. Tottenham was predicted to use their 4-0 victory over Villa last weekend as a springboard to finish ahead of Unai Emery's club in the race to qualify for the Champions League the following season.
