Fulham would missout on signing Chelsea striker Ike Ugbo

Chelsea striker Ike Ugbo is on the market this summer but Fulham has missed out on signing the player after Blues confirm just Watford and two other clubs are left in the race. The 17-goal ace spent his 2020/21 campaign on loan at Cercle Brugge in Belgium. The 22-year-old then stun everyone by netting 17 goals in 34 games for the team. After a powerful show European clubs lined up to get his signature, AS Monaco, Rostov, CSKA Moscow, Bologna, and Fulham were part of the list as well.

Watford, Eintracht Frankfurt in Germany, and Racing Genk are at the forefront for getting the Nigerian frontman’s signature. Ugbo has been on Chelsea’s book for long but never made the first-team debut for the Premier League side but was always away from Stamford Bridge playing for Barnsley, MK Dons, and Scunthorpe United among others.
