Galatasaray put Basaksehir in direction in Turkish League

Galatasaray beat Basaksehir on Saturday by 7-0, in a game of the 14th round of the Turkish League. The Istanbul team put their rivals in perspective and is already putting pressure on Jorge Jesus in the table's accounts. Akturkoglu opened the scoring after 14 minutes of play. Icardi extended the score in the 45th, from a penalty, and there was still time for Ndayishimiye to score an own goal in favor of Galatasaray. In the 59th minute, Akturkoglu scored the 'bis', leaving the next goal for Mertens, in the 65th minute. The score didn't stop there, with Akturkoglu making his hat-trick in the 85th minute and Bardakci closing the score at 7-0 in the 88th minute. With this result, Galatasaray took the second place in the table to themselves, reaching 27 points, two less than the Fenerbahçe of Jorge Jesus, leader of the championship.
