Galatasaray thinking about signing Marcelo

A few days ago, Greek journalist Kostas Nikolakopoulos claimed that Olympiakos are not happy with Marcelo's, ex-Real Madrid player's, physical state. Therefore, Nikolakopoulos revealed that the the board are considering terminating the player's contract.

In response to the news, the footballer was offered to some clubs, inclduing Besiktas and Galatasaray. 'FotoSpor' claimed that Senol Gunes' side ruled out signing the Brazilian defender.

As a result, Okan Bruk's side will ponder a move for Marcelo to Istanbul. For now, it seems that this is the main option for the player, who will await calls from several clubs interested in him.

The Brazilian's arrival could help Galatasaray get their 23rd league win, as they are currently second, behind leaders Fenerbahce, who are two points clear at the top.
