Gallagher chooses Crystal Palace over Leeds

The 21-year-old Chelsea mid fielder is all set to join Crystal palace on loan. Along with Crystral Palace, other two English teams; Leeds united and Newcastle United were also interested to sign the youngster. Chelsea’s manager Thomas Tuchel saw the potential in Conor during their practice match against Bournemouth. He was the only player to play the whole 90 minutes and proved his worth in midfield. Tuchel said that he didn’t want him to stay at Chelsea as he won't be able to give him more minutes to play in the game. With 4 years remaining in his contract, it will be a god option for Conor to move to crystal palace under the leadership of former Arsenal midfield veteran, Patrick Viera.

Gallagher has player 30 matches for Chelsea in which he scored 2 goals and gave 2 assists with limited minutes to play. For the under 18 side, he capped 36 appearances, scoring 9 goals and providing 3 assists. The young gun has a lot of potential and can give Crystal Palace a push up to the PL table this season.
