Gattuso not out to offend Ancelotti

Napoli beat Perugia 2-0 in the last 16 of the Coppa Italia after a Lorenzo Insigne brace from the penalty spot during the first half on Tuesday afternoon.

The Partenopei coach said the quality “dropped” in the second half but insisted they “played a good game”.

“We played a good game,” he told the reporters. “First half went well, but in the second half we dropped a bit.We have a lot of players out there who are doing their best. What we’re doing is not enough.[Hirving] Lozano played a good game, he must find continuity, just like [Elif] Elmas. In the second half we dropped and made a lot of mistakes. We will have to review some stuff”.

As for methodology of Ancelotti, he said "Didn't want to offend Ancelotti, but I  noticed a different methodology of work the team suffered enough".
