Red’s Midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum has agreed to join the Spanish giants. Wijnaldum’s transfer recently has been under speculation as he entered the final year of his agreement with Liverpool. Jurgen Klopp seemed hopeful the Dutchman would choose to continue with them.
But with the recent change of events with Ronald Koeman taking over as Barcelona’s coach and his keen interest in the midfielder to join Nou Camp. Wijnaldum has agreed to a 3-year contract with Barcelona for £13m to £18m.
Wijnaldum’s exit from Reds would be a blow to his fans after witnessing his talent on the field that led Liverpool to win the Premier League, Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, and FIFA Club World Cup.
Liverpool could now be looking at Bayern Munich’s Thiago Alcantara. To take his place
