Glazer family to build bridges with Manchester United fanbase

It's always going to be difficult for the Glazer family to build bridges with Manchester United supporters.

Earlier this year, United fans stormed Old Trafford to protest against plans to create a European Super League, however, anyone with even an ounce of affiliation to the club will know the protests were about far more than any Super League.

Prior to the demonstrations, the Glazers had very much played the part of silent owners at Old Trafford, though there certainly seems to have been a change in tack over the past six months.

Since May, Joel Glazer has attended two fans' forum meetings in a bid to ease some of the growing tension between the fans and the owners.

It can't be argued that both sides are clearly making an effort to build bridges, yet there's plenty more work to be done.
