Goretzka has been pitched to both Juventus and Inter

According to an exclusive report from CalcioMercato.it, Goretzka’s agents are actively exploring new destinations for the German midfielder, whose contract with Bayern is set to expire on June 30, allowing him to leave for free at the end of the season. The 30-year-old is not among the “untouchables” under Kompany, and there are currently no renewal talks.

Goretzka has been directly proposed to both Juventus and Inter Milan. However, the report suggests that given both clubs’ current wage policies and the fact that Goretzka will turn 31 in February, it is unlikely that his profile will be seriously pursued.

The report also reveals a background detail regarding another Italian club. Roma had previously expressed interest in signing Goretzka last summer, before the end of the previous season. However, the interest from the Giallorossi did not progress, as the German international was determined to remain at Bayern Munich at the time.
