Cadiz conceded late in the La Liga match-up against Granada as the match ended in a 1-1 draw on Monday. Alvaro Cervera and co have registered just two league wins so far in the season and are struggling in the relegation zone as they gave up two points that could have helped them move out of the drop zone. Granada is hovering in the 15th position with three points.
Hosts took a controversial lead in half an hour when Santiago Arzamendia’s long-range effort deflected home while Antonio Puertas went down injured. With Granada players protesting in the background, the goal was allowed. Once the game restarted Granada looked furious and desperate to get back on top and Carlos Bacca was denied a shot and on the 88th minute their efforts were rewarded when veteran striker Jorge Molina fired the leveler and salvaged a draw for Granada.
