Arsenal is working overtime in the hopes to wrap up the two deals of Real Madrid’s Martin Odegaard and Sheffield United’s Aaron Ramsdale before the Sunday match with the Champions League winner Chelsea. The midfielder and goalkeeper would need to be signed and registered before Friday itself before they could be deployed at the Emirates Stadium for the London derby.
The combined total cost Arsenal would have to bear would be over £50million and currently, they are involved with the medicals and discussing the personal terms with the player which would be easy to manage. For the Sheffield United player Gunners have agreed to pay £24m and the fee is not inclusive of £6m that would be considered an add-on. Arsenal is up for a big match against Chelsea on the second weekday after their 2-0 loss against Brentford.
