The German Football Association announced on Tuesday that, Hansi Flick, the outgoing Bayern Munich coach will succeed in the Germany dugout, his former boss Joachim Loew, after Euro 2020. Flick has signed a three-year contract to succeed Loew and after signing he said that it was all going unexpectedly quick and that he was very happy to be the German coach. He also says that he is excited to see a young class of players.
Flick was an assistant coach to Loew at the time when Germany had won the World Cup in 2014 and since long he had been the favorite to take over from Loew, who is going to leave his job later in this year after 15 years of being the in charge. Flick has also worked as the sporting director and he has earned a name among the top coaches of Europe.
