England’s Harry Kane has had a successful campaign in Euro 2020 so far and after netting two more goals against Ukraine, the England player stayed in the running for the Golden Boot. The 27-year-old would have to make up for his failure to score in the group stage in case he hopes to take the Euro 2020 Golden Boot trophy home after winning the Premier League Golden Boot and Playmaker award last season.
Kane’s header against Germany and the brace against Ukraine takes his tally to three goals in the tournament. The Tottenham Hotspurs striker needs two more goals to be the leading scorer and beat Portugal’s Cristiano Ronaldo and Czech Republic’s Patrik Schick to the trophy. Though Kane would face tough competition from his teammate Raheem Sterling who has also netted thrice in the tournament. Currently, the only contender for the trophy that remains alive in the tournament is Denmark’s Kasper Dolberg.
