Harry Kane’s brace sets back Manchester City

Manchester City faced a low title blow as Tottenham stunned the Premier League leaders with a 3-2 win at the Etihad which blew open the Premier League title race. Harry Kane grabbed a brace and helped his side take down City’s commanding undefeated streak of 16 matches. City had sighed in relief when hosts thought of getting away with one point after Riyad Mahrez grabbed a penalty but Kane’s 95th-minute header changed the course of the match and City could just sit stunned and watch it happen.

The title blow gives a great chance to Liverpool who can close in on three points if they beat Leeds United on Wednesday. Tottenham relied on Kane and Son’s partnership once more to see off the leaders and climb into the seventh-place four points adrift of fourth-placed Manchester United.
