Hertha Berlin fought against Mainz to draw up 1-1 in a Bundesliga matchup on Monday to announce their comeback from quarantine. Hertha’s players and coaching staff were placed in isolation for two weeks after a COVID-19 outbreak resulting in three matches being postponed. Hertha went ahead with a header in the first half thanks to Lucas Tousart and they came close to Arminia Bielefeld and safety by three points. Next as per their fixture is Freiburg and then they would host Bielefeld.
Marton Dardai's free-kick found Tousart at 36th minute and the French player celebrated his first Bundesliga goal ever since his transfer last summer. Four minutes later Phillipp Mwene leveled the score with a brilliant strike inside the top right corner. Mainz is six points above the relegation zone after its eighth back-to-back winless run.
