Hertha Berlin draws up with Mainz

Hertha Berlin fought against Mainz to draw up 1-1 in a Bundesliga matchup on Monday to announce their comeback from quarantine. Hertha’s players and coaching staff were placed in isolation for two weeks after a COVID-19 outbreak resulting in three matches being postponed. Hertha went ahead with a header in the first half thanks to Lucas Tousart and they came close to Arminia Bielefeld and safety by three points. Four minutes later Phillipp Mwene leveled the score with a brilliant strike inside the top right corner. Mainz is six points above the relegation zone after its eighth back-to-back winless run.
