New Juve boss Maurizio Sarri has brought Higuain back into the first-team fold after spells at Milan and Chelsea last season.
The 31-year-old has since been linked with a move to Roma, but Jorge sees his son winding down at the Bianconeri or formative club River.
“Gonzalo’s in a good place,” he told Continental Ctes.
“He has two years left on his contract and could end his career at Juventus. We, as a family, would like him to retire at River. He has a great and affectionate relationship with [River Coach Marcelo] Gallardo”.
