Hoffenheim have agreed to let Kasper Dolberg join TSG. The attacker currently at Sevilla on loan will sign for the German club on a permanent basis if the deal is completed. Hoffenheim will fly to their Algarve training camp to pick Dolberg up. Alexander Rosen, TSG's sporting director, has been searching for a forward following Munas Dabbur's injury and Ihlas Bebou's status as an understudy to date. Dolberg, who has played just 196 minutes in La Liga this season since joining Sevilla on a season-long loan from OGC Nice last summer, is expected to arrive at Hoffenheim's Algarve camp on January 3.
The transfer of the Danish forward cost Nice €20.5m in 2019 after he joined from Ajax for €20. It has been a difficult season for Sevilla, who have scored eight Bundesliga goals from Christoph Baumgartner and Munas Dabbur, who have shared eight goals.
