The Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein issued, Saturday, the most recent clinical bulletin regarding the state of health of Pelé, who has been hospitalized since Tuesday, with a four of generalized swelling and decompensated heart failure.
The medical unit reinforces that the hospitalization was exclusively due to "a reassessment of chemotherapy therapy for the tumor in the colon, identified in September 2021", and gives good news regarding the former Brazilian international.
"He is still undergoing treatment and his state of health remains stable. He has also had a good response to the care of the respiratory infection, showing no worsening in the condition in the last 24 hours", it can be read.
Information that appears just hours after the Canarinho newspaper Folha de S. Paulo announced that the 'King' would have been transferred to a palliative care unit, after failing to respond to chemotherapy.
