Rafa Mir’s double sees Huesca out of the La Liga red zone with a 3-1 win over Elche on Friday. Huesca was sitting at the last place on the table two rounds ago and now claim their place at 16th while Elche swapped places with them in the relegation zone. Wolverhampton loanee Mir scored his second brace back to back for Huesca, first, he led the team to a 2-0 win against Levante as well and has a total of 12 goals for the team.
Against Elche he first put the team ahead in three minutes by jumping over the defender, Elche answered with their own attack when Huesca’s Denis Vavro pushed an own goal off a pass by Antonio Barragán. Sandro Ramírezthen scored the second goal for Huesca past Elche’s goalkeeper Edgar Badia and Mir scored the last goal to give the host a good lead three minutes to time by converting a penalty.
