Huijsen expected to be around for two weeks as Real Madrid confirm injury

Real Madrid centre-back Dean Huijsen suffered a muscle injury while training with the Spanish national team, as confirmed by the 'Merengues'. The Spanish defender could be available for 'El Clasico' as he is expected to be out for around two weeks.

Dean Huijsen injured his left soleus muscle while training with the Spanish national team and will therefore leave the Spanish training camp and miss the World Cup qualifiers against Georgia and Bulgaria.

"Following tests carried out on our player, Dean Huijsen, today and assessed by the Real Madrid medical services, he has been diagnosed with a muscular injury to the soleus muscle in his left leg. Further updates will follow," reads the statement.
