Hummels returns to Borussia Dortmund

Mats Hummels has rejoined Borussia Dortmund following a three-year spell with Bayern Munich. The German international left Dortmund in 2016 after a nine-year stint with the club in a controversial move to their main Bundesliga title rivals.

Dortmund will part ways with around 38 million euros for Hummels' return with the player signing a three-year contract.

The 30-year-old becomes Dortmund's fourth summer signing, following the arrivals of Thorgan Hazard, Nico Schulz and Julian Brandt.
