Zlatan Ibrahimovic makes a bold claim that he could surpass club legend Eric Cantona’s legacy. The former Manchester player Ibrahimovic shared earlier Cantona had said he would never be “king of Manchester” when he signed with the club in 2016. Joining on a free transfer after a four-year spell with PSG, the Swede was regarded as the hero in the club, and in his first season, he lead the team to wins in Europa League, FA Cup, and League Cup.
Later his time with the club ended after two seasons with a serious knee injury. In his time he scored 29 goals in 53 appearances across all competitions but his legacy could not come close to Cantona’s who scored 82 in 185 appearances with four Premier League titles to pen his name down in history.
