Immobile in the race to repeat Golden Boot feat

This season, he will try to win the trophy again and his start is promising.

In the 2019-2020 season, Ciro Immobile made his presence felt and grabbed the world's attention after a brilliant season in front of goal. The Italian striker managed to score 36 goals in that Serie A campaign for Lazio.  

However, last year, Robert Lewandowski dethroned him and took his place as Europe's top league scorer. The Pole scored 41 goals, which made him the owner of the award. This year, the striker got off to a flying start and has already scored five goals in three games.

But the insatiable appetite of the reigning Euros winner with Italy is greater and he will be looking to re-establish himself as the leading striker in Europe. His start was quite good, as, in the two Italian League games already played, the '9' scored four goals.
