Ince points finger at Woodward for United troubles

Former United midfielder Ince, who played at Old Trafford from 1989-1995, has ripped into the Woodward for his running of the club and his poor handling of the squad in terms of investment.

In regards to spending money, United have never been shy in the transfer market and they spent over £140 million on three players this summer, adding Harry Maguire, Daniel James and Aaron Wan-Bissaka to the ranks.

Since Sir Alex Ferguson retired in 2013 the 20-time English champions have shelled out £946 million in transfers but they have failed to add another league title to their collection, with the last coming in the 2012/13 campaign.
