Inter Milan clinched a 3-1 home win over Udinese

Second-placed Inter is now a massive 15 points behind league leaders Napoli after being beaten to a scoreless draw at Sampdoria on Monday. This would have been their fourth consecutive competitive victory. They have a three-point lead over third-place AC Milan. After a thorough VAR review, the hosts were given a penalty kick for a foul on Denzel Dumfries in the 20th minute, and Lukaku converted it to give Inter the lead.

When the referee ordered a retake because the goalie was off the goal line, the Belgian striker made no mistakes and sent the ball into the low right corner. His initial attempt was stopped by Udinese goalkeeper Marco Silvestri. Sandi Lovric, a midfielder for Udinese, scored the game's opening goal with a shot that went barely under the crossbar.
