Inter Milan defeated Atalanta 3-2

Inter Milan defeated Atalanta with two goals in the first 10 minutes, securing their place in the top four of Serie A. Romelu Lukaku was able to sprint through, round Marco Sportiello, and score for the hosts after Lautaro Martinez's slide-rule ball with about a minute remaining in the game. A second excellent Martinez pass found Federico Dimarco in the third minute, who had two shots blocked before the ball fell for Nicola Barella to volley home.

Atalanta controlled the second half and earned their goal, which Mario Pasalic drove high into the net following a goalmouth melee. Thirteen minutes from the end, Marcelo Brozovic was sent through the middle by Romelu Lukaku, and he chose to slip the ball square to Martinez, who tapped it into an empty net.
