Inter say "no" to Ronaldo

It seems that Cristiano Ronaldo will stay at Manchester United, but it wasn't always that clear. A few weeks ago, the striker was pushing for an exit at Old Trafford and rumours of a potential exit were swirling.

According to 'La Repubblica', one of the clubs who were linked with the Portuguese forward was Inter Milan. But, this will not be his next club.

Jorge Mendes, Ronaldo's agent, offered the 37 year-old to the 'Neazzurri', but the Serie A runners up were clear in their response. "No" was Inter's reply, in short, who hope that Lautaro Martinez and Lukaku will be their starting strikers.

Inter Miami also dreamed of recruiting the Portuguese star, although he rejected this offer as he currently wants to stay in Europe.
