Liverpool’s boss Jurgen Klopp is still in the dark over the availability of Alisson or Fabinho for the weekend games. In a row that has affected many Premier League clubs, Brazil Football Confederation had asked FIFA to ban the players, after they refused to take part in the World Cup qualifiers in South America due to the quarantine requirements afterward.
Brazil thus asked for a five-day suspension instead. While the domestic leagues were put on hold so players break for international duties the pandemic created a tough situation. Liverpool would thus most likely be without Alisson or Fabinho and even injured Roberto Firmino for the Leeds match. Klopp is forced to look at plan B for the upcoming match.
