Juventus are still unable to conclude contract renewal talks with Kenan Yildiz

Chelsea and Barcelona are free to pursue contract renewal negotiations with Juventus since they are still unable to reach an agreement with Kenan Yildiz and his group. Despite only playing for the Bianconeri's first team for two years, the 20-year-old has already established himself as the team's standout player. The legendary No. 10 shirt and a vice-captain position (behind Manuel Locatelli and Gleison Bremer) are rewards for the Turkiye international's achievements in Turin. He is still paid comparatively little, though.

Yildiz increased his income to €1.5 million last summer when he inked a new deal with Juventus that would last until 2029. However, especially in light of his teammates' salaries, this amount does not adequately reflect his enormous contribution to the cause. La Gazzetta dello Sport claims that the Serie A powerhouses want to offer the attacker a net wage of €4.5 million per year, which would triple his income.
