Juventus asks coach Sarri to resign

Coach Maurizio Sarri has been asked to resign by Juventus on Saturday post his first season in charge ended with the team’s Champions League exit. Even after having won the Italian title, Sarri had to make up for the round of 16 losses to Lyon on Friday. The team expressed thanks to the coach for his contribution in Juventus. The team says they are thankful to him for writing a new page in Juventus’ history with the victory of 9th consecutive championship. They say his personal journey has led him climb all the divisions of Italian football. Even in Chelsea, Sarri had to leave only after serving one season in charge even after having won the Europe League with the London Club.
