Juventus chases after a 21-Year-Old Ligue 1 Defender

The Bianconeri are interested in signing Lille defender Sven Botman this transfer season and are considering placing a bid on the Dutchman. Juventus are not the only one involved in the chase for the 21-year-old Ligue 1 defender, Roma is also interested in the €28m rated player. Former Ajax player, Botman became an integral part of the Lille’s squad and even helped the team in their title-winning run last season.

This season Botman has only made 12 appearances so far because of injuries, the centre-back scored in Lille’s opening fixture against Metz that ended in the 3-3 draw. Juventus are looking at defensive options this season and Dutchman could be the perfect fit in the squad.
