Juventus consider strengthening goalkeeper position

Coach Luciano Spalletti remains an admirer of Alisson Becker, having worked with him at Roma, but any attempt to sign the Brazilian is seen as highly unrealistic. Alternatives such as Marco Carnesecchi are complicated by Atalanta’s steep valuation and preference to sell abroad.

Costa, represented by influential agent Jorge Mendes, who maintains strong ties with Juventus, is viewed as the most attainable option. However, Porto’s €50 million valuation, reinforced by the goalkeeper’s contract renewal through 2030, means the deal would require a significant financial commitment as part of Juve’s broader squad rebuild.
