Juventus gain a triumph 2-1 over Cagliari in Sardinia

Joao Pedro had given his side a lead but opponent team Juventus’ players Matthijs de Ligt and Dusan Vlahovic turned the tables around for a surprising win in Sardinia. Both the teams were low on confidence since the Bianconeri experienced a recent home defeat to Inter Milan that eliminated them from the race. While the Sardinians were just above the relegation zone. Alvaro Morata and Mattia De Sciglio were under suspension, with Manuel Locatelli, Weston McKennie, Federico Chiesa, Kaio Jorge, and Marley Ake kept on the sideline due to injuries.

Alberto Grassi was banned from playing the match but Leonardo Pavoletti and Razvan Marin got back into action post-COVID. After introducing Federico Bernardeschi Juventus moved to a formation of 4-2-3-1. Vlahovic’s hard work paid off in the end for his side.
