Juve missed the opportunity to take the fight to Milan for the Serie A title as Andrea Pirlo's men were held to 1-1 by Atalanta at Juventus Stadium giving a huge kick to their title hopes this season as AC Milan now enjoys a four-point lead currently after which would have been six had they also not drew up with Genoa by 2-2 on Wednesday. Federico Chiesa scored for Juve in the 29th minute to give them an early lead but Remo Freuler later leveled the score in the 57th minute and later Juve saw Cristiano Ronaldo’s penalty saved in 61st minute by Pierluigi Gollini as they lost out on a chance making it their sixth draw of the season.
Elsewhere Fiorentina and Sassuolo drew up 1-1, Sampdoria beat Hellas Verona by 2-1, Internazionale defeated Napoli by 1-0 while Cagliari and Parma ended in a goalless draw Bologna and Spezia also drew at 2-2.
