Yildiz got his first call-up for Turkey and scored his first international goal. The 21-year-old wants to play more and this could force Juventus to rethink their plans for him. He has so far played 36 minutes. Juventus had planned to keep him for the rest of the season and occasionally put him in the Next Gen team. He has one goal and an assist in five games in the Serie C.
Yildiz could also benefit from going on loan and gaining experience and visibility. It has become a real goal for him to make the squad for Euro 2024, and this is all the more important now that Turkey is managed by Montella. Galatasaray will be willing to pay a lot of money for him if they could get him, but that is not likely to happen in the near future. Juventus signed him to a contract until 2027 in the last few months.
