The previous record was seven on the bounce in Ligue 1 for Olympique Lyonnais from 2001-02 to 2007-08.

By winning the Scudetto with five rounds to spare, Juve also equal the Serie A record set by Inter in the 2006-07 campaign in the era of three points for a victory.

This was the 150th Serie A game played at the Juventus Stadium, resulting in 127 wins in which they scored 335 goals.
