Kane and Son partnership once again pays off for Tottenham

In the must-win London derby for both sides, with Champions League place up for grabs Tottenham Hotspur turned out to be the better team than West Ham United. Spurs were desperate for a win after having lost the fight to Manchester United last weekend while anything other than a win for Spurs would have hurt their chances of qualifying for the Champions League next season.

Hotspurs did not waste time either, they grabbed an early goal thanks to West Ham’s error that lead to an Own Goal. Kane produced a low cross which was destined for Son but Zouma in his efforts to block Son pushed the goal into his own net. Later Kulusevski started off on a solo run then played with it to receive it later in the box and set up Son for Spur’s second goal. An unmarked Benrahma just 11 minutes later pulled one back for West Ham but Spurs stayed in the lead by 2-1 and increased it in the second half when Son scored his second goal at 88th minute.
