Kia Joorabchian hints that Philippe Coutinho might be transferred to Arsenal

If Philippe Coutinho’s hints are to be believed, Kia Joorabchian’s possibility of moving to Arsenal is there. However, it would require crucial numbers and finances to materialize. The attacking midfielder had spent the season at Bayern Munich on loan but the Catalan giants are not looking forward to signing the Brazil international on a permanent basis. During the Premier League, the former Liverpool playmaker had been proposed £142 million in Jan 2018. However, some of the fee has still not been paid by Barcelona, owing to performance-related issues. Coutinho might serve as a long-term replacement for Mesut Ozil who is expected to depart Arsenal after his contract expires. Coutinho who is versatile, creative and hardworking is appealing to Arteta but they would need to loosen their budget in order to get the player by their side.
