Since his arrival, Darwin Nunez has only been questioned. And Klopp is tired of having to defend a player who he knows will succeed at Liverpool.
After saying that "the world is crazy" for criticising his striker and that "strikers live off what they get", Klopp once again defended him after he helped the Reds win the Community Shield.
"It was good, it was really good. It is clear it will get better with time," said Klopp. "We live in a world where everybody gets judged on first sight and that's not helpful for anybody, but it happens constantly," he commented.
The only thing the striker needed was the same as the rest: to get into a rhythm. "We weren't at 100% physically, which is normal, to be honest. In the first pre-season games we weren't at the level we were against City" he said.
