Klopp plans for the summer transfer window

Jurgen Klopp would have big plans for Liverpool for the upcoming transfer window. Liverpool entered the season as the defending champions and after giving up their dominance at home with six back-to-back losses, they failed to even put up a fight for the Premier League title last season. In the end, they had to rally to secure a top-four finish.

Liverpool would be making a lot of changes this season which starts with youngster Sepp van den Berg being sent off to Preston in a loan deal. While Klopp will have to confirm six of the star players to renew their contract he will enter into contract discussions this summer with Virgil van Dijk, Mohamed Salah, Alisson, Andy Robertson, Fabinho, and Trent Alexander-Arnold. Reds want to avoid another Georginio Wijnaldum's scene which ended with him leaving for free in the end. Liverpool is also targeting Youri Tielemans who is stalling an extension with Leicester.
