Kolar left in a mess after red, Roofe then racially abused!

The Rangers man was sent off and the goalie had to leave on a stretcher. He had an eight centimetre and had to have 10 stitches inserted.

Slavia Prague made it through to the quarter-finals of the Europa League, but unfortunately, the result will not be only thing talked about.

Roofe got himself in the headlines after seeing red for a shocking challenge on goalkeeper Kolar. In fairness to the Rangers man, he did play the ball first, but he went in with his foot incredibly high and he caught the keeper in the face with his studs showing.

Israeli referee Grinfeld had no hesitation in sending off the former Leeds man and Kolar was forced to leave the field on a stretcher.

Sadly, this was not the last of it as Roofe was then racially abused on Instagram and he uploaded screenshots of the abuse in an Instagram post.
